The Reeds Road (D110) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022
On 04 May 2022 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned
Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which
will be to (1) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding
in the following lengths of road – (a) that length of The
Reeds Road (D110) Frensham as extends from its junction
with (A287) Frensham Road to its junction with (D110) Back
Lane. Alternative Route – The Reeds Road; Back Lane; and
A287 Frensham Road or this same route in reverse; (b) that
length of The Reeds Road (D110) Tilford as extends from its
junction with (D109) Old Frensham Road to its junction with
the access to the property known as “Reeds Wood”.
Alternative Route – The Reeds Road; A287 Frensham Road;
Great Austins; Tilford Road; and The Reeds Road or this
same route in reverse; and (2) Suspend “The Surrey County
Council The Reeds (D110) (Spur Road) Millbridge (One-Way
Traffic) Order 1970” insofar as it affects that length of road
as specified in part (a) of this Notice. This Order, which will
commence on 09 May 2022 for a period of 12 months
is required because works are being, or are proposed to be,
executed on or near the said roads, to be carried out by
or on behalf of BT Openreach, including but not limited to:
telegraph pole replacement works and/or new telegraph
pole installation works and/or cabling works and/or
underground ducting and/or telecoms utility works. The
works in part (a) are anticipated to be carried out over
3 days between the hours of 8am and 6pm commencing
09 May 2022. The works in parts (b) are anticipated to be
carried out over 1 day between the hours of 8am and 4pm
commencing 25 May 2022. Advanced warning signs will be
displayed, and the temporary closures will only operate
when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. For part (a)
access to premises within the affected length of road
including access by emergency vehicles to these properties
will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians
and dismounted cyclists. Trench plates will be used when
necessary to maintain access. For part (b) access for to
premises within the affected length of road including access
by emergency vehicles to these properties will be
maintained at all times via operatives on site as will access
for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
A287 Folly Hill, Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned
Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit
vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length
of a) A287 Folly Hill, Farnham that extends from its junction
with D5353 Drovers Way, for a distance of 100m in each
direction. b) D5353 Drovers Way, Farnham that extends
from its junction with A287 Folly Hill, for a distance of 100m.
This Traffic Order is required to enable J and G Traffic and/
or Clancy Docwra/South East Water to carry out carriageway
surfacing and/or utility connection/maintenance works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out within 7 days
of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order
that commences on 27 May 2022. Works are anticipated to
be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm, on
27 May 2022 and 28 May 2022, and between the hours of
8am and 4pm, within 5 days from 06 June 2022. Advanced
warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures
will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are
displayed. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all
times. Access for emergency services, residents,
businesses, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained to
the point of closure via the vehicular diversion route:-
Northbound – Castle Hill, Castle Street, The Borough, Bear
Lane, Woolmead, East Street, B3007 Hale Road, Hale
Roundabout, A325 Hale Road and Upper Hale Road.
Southbound – Upper Hale Road, A325 Hale Road, Hale
Roundabout, B3007 Hale Road, Dogflud Way, East Street,
South Street, Downing Street, The Borough, Castle Street
and Castle Hill.
D5521 St Christopher’s Road, Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022
Surrey County Council propose to make the abovementioned
Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which
will be to:- 1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding
in that length of D5521 St Christopher’s Road, Haslemere
that extends from its eastern junction with B2131 Wey Hill,
to the south-eastern property boundary of “No.2 – No.4
St Christopher’s Road”. 2. Suspend the existing one-way
system in D5521 St Christopher’s Road, Haslemere in its
entirety. This Traffic Order is required to enable BT
Openreach to carry out poling and/or cabling and/or
maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be
carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm, within
5 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary
Order that commences on 27 May 2022. Advanced warning
signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only
operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
Access for emergency services, residents, businesses,
cyclists and equestrians will be maintained to the point of
closure via the vehicular diversion route:- St Christopher’s
Road and Wey Hill.
