C29 Thursley Road, Churt
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022
On 03 August 2022 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned
Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to a) Prohibit vehicles
from entering or proceeding in that length of C29 Thursley Road, Churt
that extends from its junction with C28 Tilford Road, northeastwards
for a distance of 200m, to the southern property boundary of
“Lingwood”. b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council C29 Thursley
Road and C29 Pitch Place, Thursley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic
Order 2022” in its entirety. This Traffic Order is required to enable
South East Water to carry out water mains repair and/or maintenance
works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the
hours of 8am and 5pm, within 4 days of the 12 month period of
operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 August
2022. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary
closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will
only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for
pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be
maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents and
businesses will be maintained via the vehicular diversion route: –
Thursley Road, Tilford Road and Thursley Road.
Petworth Road (B2131) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned
Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering
or proceeding in Petworth Road (B2131) Haslemere as extends from
its junction with (X93002) Swan Barn Road to its junction with
(D5524) Haste Hill. Alternative Route – High Street; Lower Street;
Shepherds Hill; A286 Midhurst Road/Bell Road/Haslemere Road/
Midhurst Road/Dodsley Lane; A272 Easebourne Lane/Tillington Road/
Pound Street/Park Road/Church Street/North Street; A283 London
Road/Fisher Street/Cripplecrutch Hill; Rodgate Lane; and Petworth
Road. The Order is required to allow telecoms pole installation and/or
pole replacement and/or pole removal and/or overhead cabling and/or
tree trimming and/or utility maintenance works to be carried out by, or
on behalf of BT Openreach within the length of road described in this
notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days
between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm within the 12-month period
of operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 23 August
2022. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary
closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians, and
cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Hale House Lane (D127) Churt
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned
Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering
or proceeding in that length of Hale House Lane (D127) Churt as
extends from its junction with (D129) Green Cross Lane to its junction
with the access to the property known as “Big Oak”. Alternative route:
Hale House Lane; A287 Crossways/Churt Road; Jumps Road; Tilford
Road; and Hale House Lane. The Order is required to allow new
domestic water service connection works to be carried out by, or on
behalf of South East Water within the length of road described in this
notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days
between the hours of 7.30am and 5pm within the 12-month period of
operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 22 August
2022. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary
closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will
only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for
residents to premises within the affected length of road will be
maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Access for the emergency services and all other traffic will be via the
signed diversion route.
