THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL

Old Frensham Road (D109) Lower Bourne Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2021

On 06 October Surrey County Council Made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of

the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or

proceeding in that length of Old Frensham Road (D109) Lower Bourne as extends from Its junction with

(A287) Frensham Road to its junction with (X84042) Latchwood Lane. Alternative Route – A287 Frensham

Road; The Reeds Road; and Old Frensham Road or this same route in reverse. The Order is required to

facilitate carriageway reinstatement works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Clancy Docwra within the

length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between

the hours of 9am and 4pm within the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which

commences on 12 October 2021. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will

only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of

road including access by emergency vehicles to these properties will be maintained by the crew as and

when it is required, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.

D5302 Manley Bridge Road, Wrecclesham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2021

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding

in that length of D5302 Manley Bridge Road, Wrecclesham that extends from its junction with B3384 Echo

Barn Lane to its junction with D5302 Rowledge High Street. This Traffic Order is required to enable Lanes

Group to carry out sewer cleaning and/or repair and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to

be carried out between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm, within 1 day of the 12 month period of operation

of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 October 2021. Advanced warning signs will be displayed

and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for

emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all

times. The vehicular diversion route will be via Manley Bridge Road, Rowledge High Street, Fullers Road,

Farnham Road,Wrecclesham Hill and Echo Barn Lane.

T11023 Townpath – Lowndes Buildings, Farnham Temporary Closure Order 2021

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from entering or

proceeding on foot or by any other means in the entire length of T11023 Townpath – Lowndes Buildings,

Farnham (Local Access Footway 4) from A287 Castle Street to T11024 Long Garden Walk West. This

Temporary Traffic Order is required to enable 2020 Scaffolding to enable repair and maintenance works.

These works are anticipated to be carried out within 1 month of the 6 month period of operation of the

Temporary Order, which commences on 01 November 2021. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and

the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians,

including for emergency services will be maintained via T11024 Long Garden Walk West, D5334 Long

Garden Walk and the footway to A287 Castle Street.

D5527 Chase Lane, Haslemere Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2021

On 06 October 2021 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section

14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering

or proceeding in the entire length of D5527 Chase Lane, Haslemere. This Traffic Order is required to enable

BT Openreach to carry out poling and/or cabling and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to

be carried out within 3 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences

on 13 October 2021. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is

anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are

displayed. There is no vehicular diversion route due to D5527 Chase Lane being a cul-de-sac however

access for pedestrians, cyclists, equestrians, emergency services, residents and businesses will be

maintained at all times.

D4002 Tongham Road, Runfold Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2021

On 06 October 2021 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section

14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering

or proceeding in the entire length of D4002 Tongham Road, Runfold. This Traffic Order is required to enable

Kelly Group/BT Openreach to carry out poling and/or cabling and/or maintenance works. These works are

anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 5 days of the 12 month period of

operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 21 October 2021. Advanced warning signs will be

displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. There

is no applicable vehicular diversion route however access for pedestrians, cyclists, equestrians, emergency

services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times.

Gardeners Hill Road (D115) Frensham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2021

Surrey County Council Propose to Make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding

in that length of Gardeners Hill Road (D115) Frensham as extends from Its junction with (X84016) Hillside

Road to its junction with (D115) Summerfield Lane. Alternative Route – Summerfield Lane; Moons Hill; and

Gardeners Hill Road or this same route in reverse. The Order is required to facilitate duct overlay works to

be carried out by, or on behalf of BT Openreach within the length of road described in this notice. These

works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days between the hours of 8am and 6pm within the 12 month

period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 25 October 2021. Advanced

warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs

are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road including access by emergency

vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1) Public Bridleway Nos. 63, 63a, 101 &101b

(Thursley) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2021

On 30 September 2021 Surrey County Council made a temporary order to prohibit all traffic on foot or any

other means from entering or proceeding along that length of:

i) Bridleway No. 63 (Thursley) from its junction with Dye House Road (Grid ref. 490629 139751) in a

northerly, then easterly, then southerly and then generally easterly direction for 355m.

ii) Bridleway No. 101b (Thursley) from its junction with the A3 (Grid ref.491431 139990) in a northerly

direction for 202m to its junction with Bridleway 63a.

iii) Bridleway No. 63a (Thursley) from its junction with Bridleway 101b (Grid ref. 491439 140191) in a

northerly direction for 150m to its junction with Bridleway 63

iv) Bridleway No. 63 (Thursley) from its junction with Bridleway 63a (Grid ref. 491483 140338) in a north

easterly direction for 64m to its junction with Bridleway 101.

v) Bridleway No. 101 (Thursley) from its junction with Bridleway 63 (Grid ref. 491506 140395) in a south

easterly then easterly then south easterly direction for 336m to its junction with the A3.

The permissive bridleway between Bridleway 63 and Bridleway 101b (Thursley) will also be closed.

The Order is necessary by reason of danger to the public due to works to rebuild Hammer Pond Dam taking

place on and adjacent to the path. It will be in operation from 1 October 2021 until 28 February 2022 or until

completion of the works, if earlier, and while the relevant notices are displayed. The Secretary of State for

Transport can extend that period if required.

The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by

the County Council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.

The alternative routes for the closures are:

i) Bridleway No. 63 (Thursley): From the western end of the closure proceed in an easterly direction along

Dye House Road to its junction with Old Portsmouth Road. Turn left onto Old Portsmouth Road and

proceed in north easterly direction to its junction with the permissive access onto Thursley Common.

Proceed in a northerly direction along the permissive bridleway to the eastern end of the closure

ii) Bridleway No. 101b (Thursley): There is no alternative route.

iii) Bridleway No. 63a (Thursley): There is no alternative route.

iv) Bridleway No. 63 (Thursley): From the south western end of the closure proceed along the permissive

route provided in a generally north easterly direction to the north eastern end of the closure.

v) Bridleway 101 (Thursley): There is no alternative route.

The ‘Surrey County Council Public Bridleway Nos. 63, 63a, 101 &101b (Thursley) Temporary Prohibition

of Traffic Order 2021’ was made by the County Council under Section 14(1) of the

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
