Statement of Representation Procedure and Availability of Documents - Addendum to Waverley Borough Local Plan Part 2: Site Allocations and Development Management Policies.
Regulation 19: Town and Country Planning
(Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended)
Local Plan Part 2 (LPP2) is the second part of Waverley’s new Local Plan which covers the period 2013-2032 and contains policies that will be used to make decisions on planning applications. It also allocates additional sites for housing in parts of the Borough, reviews the boundaries of our town centres and local landscape designations, and allocates sites for Gypsy and Traveller accommodation.
Waverley consulted on the LPP2 Pre-Submission Plan, between November 2020 and January 2021. Whilst it was anticipated that the LPP2 Pre-Submission Plan would be the version of the plan that the Council would submit to the Secretary of State for independent examination, the Council is now proposing a number of changes to it.
Waverley Borough Council is now publishing an Addendum setting out the main changes to the LPP2 Pre-Submission Plan, along with accompanying documents, for a Regulation 19 consultation. This is to give members of the public an opportunity to make representations on the Addendum before it is submitted alongside the LPP2 Pre-Submission Plan to the Secretary of State for examination.
Representations are invited during the six week consultation period which begins on Friday 1 October 2021 and ends on Friday 12 November 2021 (11.59pm).
Please note that we are only inviting representations on the Addendum and supporting documents. All representations
made during the previous Regulation 19 consultation on the LPP2 Pre-Submission Plan between November 2020 and January 2021 will be submitted alongside the Plan for examination and do not need to be re-submitted.
